Regarded as one of the finest cardio-thoracic surgeons in Malabar, Dr Anil Jose delivers treatment to his patients with unparalleled precision and skill. Having performed the first Minimally Invasive Mitral Valve Repair, the first Robotic Surgery, first VATS, and first Endoscopic Vein Harvesting in North Kerala, Dr Anil leads the frontier in Minimally Invasive Cardio-thoracic Surgeries in Malabar. His most notable accomplishment thus far, is achieving the first successful adult ECMO recovery in Malabar. He has also performed the first Aortic Homograft Implantation in Malabar, yet another testament to his exceptional skill.    

Dr Anil has received his Surgical fellowships from Kings College Hospital, London (UK) and Brighton & Sussex University Hospital (UK), as well as Robotic fellowship from Roswell Park Cancer Institute (USA). He attributes his exceptional skills and outcomes to having trained at aforementioned globally top-ranked hospitals, for half a decade. Additionally, he is a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow, as well as a member of Royal College Surgeons Edinburgh. 

As well as maintaining minimal rates of morbidity and mortality, he is also renowned for not using blood or blood products in a staggering 30% of his surgeries. In his 20+ years of experience, he has spent a decade in Calicut, doing more than 2000 open-heart surgeries, while heading one of the largest cardio-thoracic units in the city.
