Dr. Musthafa Janeel M is a Senior Consultant Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon with over 4000 successful surgeriescurrently practicing at Meitra Hospital.. He specializes in complex congenital heart conditions and trained in Paediatric & Congenital Cardiac Surgery at GreenLane Hospital, Auckland. With a passion for expanding access to care, Dr. Janeel led the first-ever successful paediatric cardiac program in Somalia and directs an offsite program in Hargeysa, Somaliland. He also serves as a visiting consultant at hospitals in India, Iraq, and UAE. Notable achievements include performing India’s first ECMO for a pregnant survivor and implanting a pacemaker in India’s smallest-weight baby.
