After her undergraduate training (MBBS), from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trichur, Calicut University, Dr. Thasleena N S - Senior Registrar, Anaesthesia and Pain Management - specialised in Anaesthesiology and did her DNB – Anaesthesiology from Ganga Medical Centre and Hospital, Coimbatore under the National Board of Examination. After her internship at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Trichur, she worked as Medical Officer, Al Arif Hospital, Trivandrum; Medical Officer, Royal Mother and Baby Hospital, Trivandrum; Medical Officer, Pl Multi-speciality Hospital, Calicut; and Primary DNB Resident, Ganga Medical Centre and Hospital, Coimbatore.
