Dr. Tushar is the consultant in the department of Neurology at Meitra .He completed his MBBS at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and his MD in General Medicine from MKCG Government Medical College, Berhampur, where he was a gold medalist. He pursued a DM in Neurology from Madras Medical College, Chennai, DNB in Neurology followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in epilepsy at Aster MIMS Hospital, Kozhikode.He also got trained in epilepsy from Cleveland , USA and did a basic course in sleep medicine from sleep institute India.

His Professional journey includes role as Assistant professor in Neurology in KMCT medical college, consultant  epileptologist at Aster MIMS Hospital, Kozhikode before joining meitra.
