Dr. Gopalakrishnan Raman
After completing his PDCC-A in SCTIMST, Dr. Gopalakrishnan Raman worked in the Indo-American Brain & Spine Centre as a Neuroanaesthetist for one month. He underwent training in the United Kingdom from 1997 till 2004. He then returned to India to take up the post of ICU Director in Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, Coimbatore. He moved to Global Hospitals, Chennai in 2009 and worked in the Liver transplant unit as well as the cardiac and neuroanaesthesia theatres. In 2010, he moved to Chettinad Hospital, Chennai as the HOD of Anaesthesia and Critical Care. He worked there till 2016 when he moved to Calicut to join Meitra Hospital as HOD – Critical Care. He completed MBBS from Calicut Medical College and DA, MD and DNB in Anaesthesiology from the prestigious G.S Medical College and Kind Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
