Meitra Advanced Stroke Centre
Stroke is the leading cause of disability worldwide and the second leading cause of death after heart attacks. It is a preventable lifestyle disease that can be cured completely if immediate treatment is provided. A Stroke occurs when a blood vessel is blocked by a clot or bursts (ruptures). When this happens, part of the brain cannot get blood (and oxygen) it needs, and so brain cells die.
