The Department of Plastic Surgery at Meitra Hospital is a dedicated facility for cosmetic or aesthetic surgeries, surgical repair of congenital deformities, post-surgical reconstruction and post-traumatic defects. This field of medicine caters to a variety of patients requiring trauma reconstruction, hand surgery, cleft care, post-oncological resection, pediatric plastic surgery, burns management, and aesthetic surgery.

The service offerings range from performing skin grafting for wounds, post-cancer reconstruction with local, regional flaps and microvascular free flaps, creation of AV fistulae for haemodialysis, post-CABG surgery sternal dehiscence, maxillofacial trauma, cleft lip, and palate repair as well as emergencies like wound exploration for hand trauma with tendon repairs, hand fractures, burns, nerve, and vessel repairs.
